There is a wide network of restaurants,
some with a picturesque flavour, to enjoy the regional specialities: "Boliches",
a type of round bean (those from Embun are specially famous). Roast lamb or
barbacued, lamb chops, cordero a la pastora (shepherdess style lamb), migas a la
pastora (based on breadcrumbs), chilindron style chicken, salmorejo style eggs,
all types of pork products. Somontano wine is simply delicouos, and it has
increased its fame all over the world. |
