Crossed by the Gállego River, its origin is roman (Ville of Sabiniano).

We can still find some medieval monuments, such as the tower (used as a bell-tower), built in the XVI century, and the Town Hall (XVII century). If you go to the park, you'll find a reconstruction of the presbitery of the ruins of the Church of Gavín. It is a superb example of the serrablese prerromanic architecture.
