Just
in front of Gavín, we find "San Pelay". It's a monastery of
the XI century... It was discovered two years ago, althoug
its existence was known... The bodies of the monks are being exhumed.
We can find the walls of cloister, a chapel downstairs....
If you want to see it while the excavation time , ask to the archaelogist Mr. José Luis Cebolla, and he'll saw it to you.; if he´'s not there ask for the key at the aparthotel Lausán of Gavín because you'll find the monastery closed. |
