The
Ville of Biescas has a great geografical situation, in the heart of the Pyrinees
Mountains, on an old glacier valley, fluvial today. Inhabitaded from the
Neolitic ( dolmen of Sta. Elena ); with the romans ( roadways and
coins) ; in the Medieval Age ( Churches of the Serrablo ); A great
part of the town was burned while the Civil War ,but there are still some
monuments. Biescas
is in the department of Huesca , at the head of Tena's Velley. Healthy town,
with old textile and farmer tradition. Tourism is today its principal industy.
